Mercedes a-class a116 cdi smoke form exhaust no power rattling sound. Turbo failed due lack of oil service. We have discovered block sump and oil pump pick up pipe.
We must conduct engine flushing, full service, new feed and return and obviously full turbo rebuild.
BMW X3 3.0sd bi turbo system 54399700065 53269700000 white smoke from exhaust, lack of power, a lot of smoke under the bonnet.
We have discovered small turbo seal fault , rocker cover gasket worn/old/damaged and swirl flaps fault.
Turbo has been remanufactured, the swirl flaps blanks applied, new rocker cover gasket fitted and finally problems solved. Another happy customer!
Audi tt quattro 2.0 tfsi turbocharged engine K04 turbo 53049700064. Customer experienced lack of power and wearing, grinding sound.
We confirmed that turbo has seized and snapped off.
In this case the client decided to go for hybrid turbo with 25% bigger, lighter, slimmer compressor wheel, upgraded bearings, back kut shaft.
After turbo rebuild, hybrid and installation it went straight for remapping!
