Turbocharger Actuator (Wastegate Actuator) can be a source of problems with car performance. It does a quite simple but very important job. Controls position of the vanes inside the turbocharger. This regulating the speed of the compressor and preventing it from over-speeding.

The number of garages would just replace turbocharger and charge you a few hundreds of pounds. We can diagnose and replace turbo actuator on your car without taking the whole turbocharger off! This solution would save your time and money!

Actuator Fault Symptoms
If you noticed power cuts, error codes, limp mode or coil flashing light your turbo actuator may be faulty.
Error Code P2563 / 009571 – Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit. Symptoms of a P2563 code may include:
- Malfunction Indicator
- Light On Poor performance
- Hesitation during acceleration
- Decrease in fuel economy
Flashing Coil Light – very common light on dashboard that can be related to many different things. Check for other symptoms that can be actuator fault.
Wiring and Connections – some of the issues can come from rusty or badly connected wires. If you have a scan tool, clear the diagnostic trouble codes from memory, and see if P2563 code returns. If it does not, then the connections were most likely your problem.
Excessive Carbon Build-Up – if car is driven on short distances and low revs the carbon can build up around vanes inside turbocharger causing actuator failures.
Actuator Mechanical Failure – if material gets worn and weak actuator can fail mechanically
ACTUATOR MUST BE FULLY CALIBRATED OTHERWISE TURBO WON’T WORK CORRECTLY AND CAN FAIL AGAIN!
