Hello!
Today to our workshop arrived this nice Mercedes E Class with powerful 3.0 liter v6 diesel engine! There was a problem while accelerating car goes into limp mode. So let’s find what caused problem!

Inspection
We did inspection first, because finding reason of turbocharger failure is very important. Reason must be eliminated to prevent turbocharger from fail again. We had to strip down covers and find reason that caused issues.

Lack of service
Very common fault that is caused by car owners. Mostly by previous owners.
This car hasn’t been serviced for a while. Old and tried oil mixed with dirt clogged turbocharger feed pipe. Turbo wasn’t been lubricated adequately which caused turbo seized.

Turbo Replacement
Seized turbocharger must be replaced. So we passed old turbocharger to our regeneration team, and started with necessary services.
We drained old oil from engine, and cleaned sump, every feed pipe and flushed engine. Then we filled engine again with brand new oil, replaced air and oil filters so new turbocharger will have very friendly environment for work.
