Today we have the example of excellent ultimate driving machine the BMW 535d. Bi turbocharged engine creates 283 bhp and 580NM of torque. This is one of the quickest diesel powered public vehicles on the roads.
We had customer with problem of white smoke and lack of power.
After diagnostics we discovered small turbocharger was seized and big one started to leak to inter-cooler.
Both turbochargers must be reconditioned.
The reason of turbo failures was lack of lubrication caused by lack of service. The filter was minimum 3 years old. A lot of dirt and carbonised, contaminated oil we flushed out of the engine.
After turbo failure reason elimination, engine flush, turbo feeds replacement and inter-cooler cleaning we reconditioned turbos.

After job completion and test drive, customer admit the BMW is pulling even stronger than normal. Now BMW 535d can breath again!
